Dear Family and Friends,
The goose has calmed down a little bit. Basically we assumed that it's lady friend had a nest with eggs and they were waiting for the baby geese to hatch, so now that all of the babies have hatched it's not as mad, but it will still hiss at us every so often when we walk passed it. We are helping build a fence for this widow in the ward, which is a lot of fun. I haven't built a fence before so it's cool to know what goes into and how to do it. One of the members had this really cool machine though. So I call it a bush wacker, and basically it's an oversized push weed wacker. It takes like 1/4 inch thick wires and can take down an entire forest of weeds in a matter of minutes.
We were able to meet and teach two new investigators, and teach and set up appointments with two or three other investigators. We have been blessed to be able to work with two new investigators and already commit one of them to a baptismal date. One of our investigators is Jane, she is 18, already knows quite a bit about the church and has been exposed to multiple LDS friends and been to church activities. She without a doubt will get baptized, it's just committing her to a date. The other new investigator is Giovanni, he is maybe 23 or 24, has been coming to church with friends for the past couple weeks and decided he wanted to take the lessons last night. We committed him to a date for May 14th and he accepted and is excited to join our church. It was funny, because after he said yes he said that this would be the fifth church he will be baptized into. We then assured him that it would be the last and that he has found the true church.
That's about it. I'll send a separate email with all the pictures and explanations.
Love,
